Early Experimentation
With this latest rendition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles having such a unique art style, I felt that it deserved a unique treatment of the Sky Cinema logo.
Luckily, Paramount were kind enough to send over a toolkit containing the characters in various scenarios on an alpha, so I got to experimenting.

Cel Animation
While I was happy with the early experiments I did, I wanted to pay homage to that classic Nickelodeon ‘slime’ / TMNT ‘Ooze’. I decided to try my hand at some more traditional animation (drawing out every frame by hand). Though the toolkit from Paramount had terrific assets, animating it myself allowed me to go much more bespoke. I could then have the slime flow over the hand-animated logo, revealing the normal Sky Cinema logo underneath.

I gave a similar treatment to all of the review stars that would also be featured in the promo, matching everything to the art style of the film.
